Known around Nashville as a “rare talent” (CelebMix), Faren Rachels is undeniably one of the hardest working artists in Music City. After playing her way through the dive bars of her college town in Athens, the Sparta, Georgia native officially turned her sights on Tennessee in 2012.

Working side-gig after side-gig & co-writing as often as she could eventually led to a publishing contract that earned her cuts Billboard has called “steady, stomping [and] propulsive”. Her honest approach to songwriting has landed her credits with artists like Lainey Wilson, Ashland Craft, Chrissy Metz & more.

Rachels has shared the stage with many country greats including Luke Combs, Brantley Gilbert, Willie Nelson & Deana Carter. “My grandparents loved country music… they took me to my first concerts,” she recounts, “and now I get to tour with some of the same artists they introduced me to.”

“I just wanna make music for grown-ass women” she explains, “I want to make music about things people are actually going through… not just
drinkin’ beer 24/7.”

Despite having to take a break from touring due to the pandemic, Faren is now poised to impress once again with a string of new releases (produced by Rocky Block and Austin Goodloe) and a rapidly building tour schedule. It’s no wonder her work has been described as “speaking to the universal journey, and struggle, of turning dreams into reality,” (American Songwriter) because Faren Rachels has lived, and thrived, through it all.
